Cliff Walk

Enjoy a panoramic view of Howth's peninsula while walking along the coastline. This walk can start or end at Howth's Summit and end or begin at red Rock, Sutton. However, there are other entrance and exit options along the route. 

You will pass some spectacular views of the Baily lighthouse and hidden beaches. This is a must do experience on your visit to Howth!

Fairy Trail

This is one for the kids!

Take a trip up to the Bog of Frogs in Howth to find all 29 fairies! 

You will also see some magnificent views along this trail, a trip worth taking if you want amazing views and want to entertain the kids at the same time!

Howth Market

Located in the heart of Howth you can find the Howth Market. It is a permanent fixture within Howth and is a popular choice for both locals and tourists providing fresh produce, baked goods, jewellery, clothing, antiques and more.

St Mary's Abbey

St Mary's Abbey can be located in the middle of Howth village and cannot be seen from the main road. Yet, its views looking over the harbour are reason alone to visit.

Howth Harbour Lighthouse

Located on the East pier and built in the 19th Century, you will find the Howth Harbour Lighthouse. The lighthouse symbolises a longingness to travel abroad and then return home again.

A great spot for some panoramic views of Howth Harbour and Ireland's Eye

Howth Castle

Howth Castle can be found just outside Howth village. Home to the St. Lawrence family, their estate includes most of Howth Head, area's of Howth Cliff Walks and the island of Ireland's Eye. The castle is not open to the public however, the grounds are open and can be accessed through the entrance to Deer Park.

Martello Tower, Sutton

Martello Tower can be found in Red Rock, Sutton. The tower was built in 1804 and has been refurbished and now offers a unique self-catering holiday experience. The surrounding area provides spectacular views of Dublin Bay, so don't forget your camera for this one!
