What is the best way to travel to Howth?
As Howth is a very popular tourist destination, we would always recommend public transport, such as the DART or Dublin Bus, as the best mode of transport. More information can be found on the 'Local Area' page
Are the beaches safe to swim in?
Although pier jumping is forbidden in Howth, the beaches are most definitely safe to swim in and are very popular for tourists and locals all year round. More information regarding tide times and sunrise/sunset times can be found on our 'Local Area' page.
